Hi folks! I would like to announce a european 3v3 CTF-tournament that will start as soon as the squad server is up. The 3 players forming a team must not be from one clan.
The system will be Knock-Out and i will set a limit of 16 playing teams (so 48 players).
The pairings will be chosen randomly and The rules are explained down.
Everyone, who'd like to take part with a team just post it here and search for more players.
I really only want serious teams so that this tournament will be played without having to remember every single team when they have to play. The squad should have a fun name and Tag and it'd be cool if your names have a relation to squad name Very Happy

Rules:

gameType: CTF

gameTimeLimit: 15 mins (900 seconds)

scoreLimit 7

K.O.-System: The winning team proceeds to next round, losing team is out of the tournament. Semi-Final losers play against each other for Bronze Medal.

Rounds played maximum: 3 (if drewn after 3 rounds 1,5-1,5 there is a TDM played until 50 kills)

timeToSpawn: 5 seconds

what happens if a player disconnects or gets disconnected?
1. If a player disconnects and reconnects seconds later, there is no problem
2. If a player disconnects and has a good reason why to do so, the time and the scores will be written down by referee and the match will continue from this stage on.
3. If a player disconnects because his team is losing and it's obvious that he did it because his team was losing, the squad loses the match and the other squad proceeds to next round.

If a player is cheating the whole squad will be banned from tournament.

If less teams than 16 sign in, there will be Bye's in the first round.

Insultations and offences: players who insult other players get a warning, if they dont stop insulting, the team will be banned. Babo is "sport" Very Happy and must be fair!!

Squad building: One Squad is built out of 3 players. All players must be in different clans or clanless. If not, teams will not be accepted. The team name must not contain any offensive things.

Referees: referees just watch the matches, report the results and control that no one is insulted etc. They also control the map choices and so on. They will also have to handle difficult situations and judge them fairly (like disconnections etc...)Referees will either be players who dont participate in the tournament or cpts that wont have any advantages of being cpt. Ppl, who would like to be referee, contact me by MSN.

The teams will be drafted randomly.

Itd also be great if 2 players can help me organizing the tounament ( Neo, a * player ?).

Sco, i think we have to talk with some clan leaders
and power up it with more players.
If squads with same-clan players are disallowed - it will make our babo community friendlier.
So I'm for it .

You got a good point, but... :
-I think that it are the big clans who has a wing or second clan, and much players join them and hope once to play for the first squad.

- The persons who decide such things would be the same as these that our in a big clan (and have allready a wing for some of them)


but NBT (sco) agrees with your point!

Ok, but I want to say that our clans NBT and w.o.w are not that bad as it could seems
we have strong players, nice teams, forums and a desire to be first
so we are not far of being the "big" clans =)

Far enouh i think, whene we play vs "the big", we lose with big score...
And we re not long active, so a second bad point

But i think we must not rivals but friendly clans

Actually it is not the clan which loose.
It is the leader who loose.

You know you play worse then ( for example Geronimo )
so you give up before the game, and the team feels it.
Everybody is loosing mental and only after that - loosing on field.
